FNF Supported Cote d'Ivoire Initiative Gets Second Place at Africa Liberty Forum
Audace Institut Afrique's Acteur Communau’TERRE programme was honored with the 2nd prize for the best African Programme at the 2017 Africa Liberty Forum. The event, that took place in Johannesburg on 23-25 May, was organised by the ATLAS Economic Research Foundation in partnership with Free Market Foundation.
The submitting 'FREEDOM MOVEMENT' foundations, from across the continent, had to submit projects that displayed sustainability in how the programme is being carried out. The jury therefore had to assess the demonstrable and measurable impact and the innovative aspect of research or advocacy.
Acteur Communau’TERRE is a 6-year programme that was launched in 2016 and is supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. The programme therefore met these demanding criteria and was thus able to win this encouraging prize for the institute, the pilot villages and for Côte d'Ivoire since the programme aims to improve tenure security in rural areas.
